Back in 2005 when we were running the site as AlanWAKE.net we held a community interview where the fans got to submit their questions and Remedy answered them!
It’s that time again and so if there is a questions you’ve wanted Remedy to answer about Alan Wake then now’s your chance!
There are several ways you can submit questions, you can submit them via email to pete {at} brightfalls(.)net (please make sure to include the nickname you wish to be credited by) or you simply send a @reply via Twitter to @remedyalerts!
Please do not submit questions via the comments here!
Also please note that while Remedy would love to answer all questions there are simply some that they can’t at this time, also not all questions submitted are guaranteed to be answered.
The deadline for all questions is Tuesday 16th June 2009, so you have a little over a week to send those questions in.
What an eventful week it’s been, especially for the Remedy staff who after presenting the game at the Microsoft E3 Press conference spent the next 3 days holding backstage demos for all press.
This demo was more or less the same as the one shown at the Press Conference, with one major exception, this demo was almost twice as long!
While, unfortunately, this footage is not available on the Internet there has been quite a few Hands-on impressions posted from a lot of sites. In addition to this many previews about the game were posted. While there’s a bit too many to list all here there is a list being updated at the official forums here.
Some noticeable highlights are hands-on impressions by IGN, Gamespot, Kotaku and G4.
A lot of these updates were posted on our twitter feed where we keep a more real time tracking of the news, we like to keep the important updates for this site so that way we don’t flood the front page with pointless news ;)
Some highlights over the past couple of days were Markus Maki’s E3 behind-the-scenes updates that he was posting on the official forums.
Also no we can’t forget the interviews with Max Payne .. umm I mean.. Sam Lake at IGN and Gamespot.
So that’s it. As always you can join us at the official forums to talk with the developers and also all the news gets posted there quite quickly as well.
Wow we’ve really been spoilt today haven’t we? Not too long after we see some gameplay footage and are told the release date there’s a new trailer released! In HD!
To commemorate its E3 2009 activities, we bring you this Premium Alan Wake theme, containing images from key scenic locations in the town of Bright Falls and its surroundings
The theme is 27.62mb and costs 240 Microsoft points.
Microsoft just had their annual E3 conference and Alan Wake was a part of the show. It was the first time we had seen gameplay footage and more importantly, the first time we know a release date.
Alan Wake is set to release Spring 2010!
If you happened to miss the conference then we have some low quality pics which should tie you over until high resolution footage is released. (Update: You can view a captured feed of the Alan Wake demo here. Thanks to AlanWake.CZ for the tip)
UPDATE! High Def footage of the Alan Wake demo up now at Gametrailers.
