Max Payne Series on Steam!

Not really Alan Wake related but it’s news worthy anyway. Max Payne and Max Payne 2 are now available on Steam for $9.95 each or a special bundle pack for $14.95! These are also part of the Rockstar Collection which also includes the GTA series and other games as well for $59.95.

Unfortunately the Max Payne games still have issues on Vista but those who have found it hard to find the games in stores can now purchase them very easily.

So anyone get this yet? Wonder if theres any issues with it at all other than the no vista and mod tools deal. Also if you get the mod tools seperately are they compatible with the steam version?

I’ve not heard any complaints from people who’ve ‘got’ the mod tools after installing the steam version. It’s just a shame they didn’t come with it in the first place.

I’d like to know if regular mods with it, and if there are any other mod issues that need to be fixed.

I have a question for those who got these games from Steam. Do the cheats still work with the Steam version?

I’ve heard that you can use mods with the steam versions (of Max Payne 2 anyway so I’ll assume MP1 as well). I’d guess cheats would work the same as well but don’t take my word on that.
