Wired.com recently interview Shane Kim, corporate vice president of Microsoft Game Studios. Shane talked about Alan Wake and what lies ahead and why they are holding back on releasing information about the game.

… “it is an ambitious, different kind of game. It’s exactly like the conversation we just had about Too Human. We’ve got to be careful about how we unveil that, right, so that we build on the excitement that people have and we don’t do any damage there. The good news is that it remains one of our most anticipated titles. Everybody’s asked me about it, which is awesome. Remedy’s a great partner for us. I think we’re going to have a huge hit on our hands.”

Remedy are in a media blackout for a reason and no matter how much bitching you do they’ll continue in it because as far as they are concerned they feel it’s best for THEIR game.

Also noone has heard of “anal wake” because there’s obviously no such thing.

I suggest you remain patient and simply wait until Remedy themselves are ready to release information on the game. When that time comes you will see it posted on this site, until then they’re still in the same position so no point in repeating yourself.

That much just be patient
This game will be released
I would say around October — December
The more you complain the longer it will be
do some thing to keep your self occupied
like play a game or build a system

The PC version will probably be somewhere in Q3 of this year, but the 360 version i think will be Q4 this year or Q1 next.

Both versions should be released at the same time, I see no reason for them not to do so.

Both versions should use identical art assets, models, terrain etc. Though the PC usually has the upper hand due to higher resolutions, AA and AF. Performance on the 360 is usually limited to 30fps as well, whereas PC is unlocked in most games.

I personally want a PC version but if it’s one of those PC games made exclusively for Vista (meaning it wont run on XP) then forget it….
